Powerhoop……..easy to master and fun to use!

Powerhoop is a weighted hula hoop. It comes in weights of 3lb, 4lb or 5lb. Most people use the 4lb hoops. The waist-whittling effect of weighted, padded Powerhoops make them a fantastic addition to your workout routine. It gives effective training for the core muscles in your waist, abdomen & lower back. Tones the muscles in your buttocks, hips & thighs. You can burn up to 300 calories per 45 minute class with Andrea. It even reduces lower back pain & stiffness! 

Don’t worry if you were unable to master the old fashioned ‘hulahoop’. The weighted and padded Powerhoop’s great design and large diameter make it easy to use, even for beginners! High-density foam padding makes Powerhoop comfortable to use, while the shape, size and weight create a versatile fitness tool that can be used in a variety of dance, aerobics, yoga, Pilates and stretching exercises.

Amazing inch loss! Check your progress with a tape measure - not a scale! The abdominal muscles you build weigh more than fat, so you might not notice as much progress in kilos as you do in centimetres!

Don't worry we don't expect you to hula with your Powerhoop for the whole 45 minute class!!!! The class is made up of aerobic exercise using the powerhoop, muscular and endurance exercises like squats and lunges with the hoop and arm exercise using the Powerhoop as a resistance weight. Dances with the powerhoop, games with the powerhoop, and of course a bit of hula style Powerhooping. But we build up the hooping time slowly to let your stomach muscles get use to the weighted Powerhoop. The wavy interior profile helps to quickly build a body armour of protective core muscle. Fun fitness with amazing results.
